What's happened? Well, We've won our first battle of the bands. Yeah, I know sounds like some cruel carrie-esque joke, but I see no pig's blood in sight. People like our music. Yay for us! What else? A few requests to play other battles... Onnnh, Those probably won't go as well. No matter we're still in this together. Maybe someday We'll have a solid gold house.... Or... you know.. not...BTW, Our Friend Melissa Russell did a fine job tonight in her performance of a "drunken" ditz AND a sknak tonight. Good job Melli Saw!

Good weekend for some, bad weekend for katie. kind of.
well, we all slept over to hannahs on friday including downey and melissa. Which was fun we had "7 foot cooking with michael downewy" which was funny. and juliah and chris amd sarah and justin came over for abit. they're all so cute together :) unfortunately katie still has the blues and seeig them all happy made her upset :( and then she cryed, then amanda cryed, then hannah laughed...she's sucha little trooper..jk
then we al went over to jenns' what's with peoples parents all leaving all of a sudden?? this was fun..we watched old horror movie. something abouta vampire whch was fun. then katie and hannah slept over to jenn's.
katie had a bit of an asthma attack on sunday and had to go to the hospital..it was nothing really serious but it added to her blues. it's been a hard week on her but we're trying to cheer her up.
and to the one who broke her heart. i hope you realize how much you've thrown away. you'll realize someday. for now i hope you know you'll never ever find someone good as her.

Today was halloween! yay! we had a somewhat party type thing which was cool. lindsay sat out on the deck in a really creepy costume and scared kids as they came to the door. heheh...one kicked her which we thought was funny. well yeah, hannah, amanda and katie were dressed as witch type people and michelle had this old man mask on that looked like ester if he was real. and lindsay well lindsay was this creepy looking monster thing. charlie had his nose goggles on and juliah and chris were themselves.
it was ok, but katie was suffering from the broken heart blues all week so that sucked horribly. she's really depressed but i think she's getting over it.

We played at the battle thing today. it was fun :) hooray! unfortunately the pit show was cancelled but that's ok. the battle was fun and we got to miss a period of school! hooray! well we got good responses from people. but it was the people we expected to hate us which is ok i guess...kinda weird tho. preppy ho got the most responses people wanted us to give thema set of the lyrics to it. which is cool that they found it funny cause its supposed to be but once again, they were the people we expcted to hate it. but then again, some people did take it as an insult. which i find funny because if you think the song is about you then obvioulsy your at peace with the fact that you do all that shit.

Just got home from the sound check..this is katie by the way. It was ok, oh..the sound check is for the battle of the bands type thing tomorrow (october, 25th) i relaly dont think we have a chance in hell of winning...but we've been practisisng so we still sound ok, we have a totally different sound then the other bands...which is cool. they'er doing rage and other covers while we're doing our own stuff. they were all really nice to us tho and helped set us up soyou could hear everything ok, but they treated us like we were completely helpless it was like "oh no, you don't have to do that! i'll do it for you" or "is that heavy?? want me to carry it for you?"

we've been parctising really hard lately...or at least trying to. we came up with two songs! one shall remain nameless (shhh...it's a secret) and the other is called "goodbyes" it's a really nice song. it's the song amanda wrote and sang for her audition thing. it's really nice people tend t like it. (knock on wood) the pit show is in 9 days. oh god....the stress the stress OF IT ALL NOO!O i'm ok.....deep breaths (inhale...exhale) phew. ok. there's suposed to be a show on friday (2 days) but it's day show and day shows =bad.

amanda entered a talent search thingy. the peoplem were really really really impressed by her. they called her back for an interview thingy but unfortunately amanda couldn't come up with the money to make it to florida for the conference they needed her for. she was pretty bummed but we still think shes the greatest and it was awesome that she was called back. plus the really hot model guy there said that she was amzing and that we have to keep encouraging to be so great!! he also said out of all the people there they were the most impressed with amanda.

We went on a group excursion to Pasedena today, sans hannah, and jammed with Blister.... You know, I never thought I'd say this, but I think we need hannah to sound good.... Damn bass hopld us together.... Tried several songs, and Amanda screwed them all up. Lots of other people wandered over and played, so we stopped. Pooey louie and Delilah went norm freaking, with Sancho close on their heels, taping it all. Honestly, we had never encountered a more volitile group of people..... They tried to hit Pooey and De with things. Anyways, things all settled down eventually and a good time was had by all (Except the norms, I think we offended them). Jam/recording tomorrow? Perhaps. I don't rightly know. All I know is there's sand up my cast and it's chafing me.

Hopefuly re-recording some tracks from teh cd ad re-mastering them on goldwave. Should be a whole bunch of fun on Saturday. Oh and tomorrow, Amanda's off her crutches..... First Update and we're making it a team effort. GO TEAM OGIS! Um, our demo's done. Huzzah for that. It's got all our songs written on it because... well.... we wanted to put them all on. Still no shows since the prom, but we're hopeful! :) Uh. I don't know what else to say. Everything's going good, we're still writing songs and such and Lindsay's getting a new guitar soon... Or so we all hope. Ol' Brown crap is loosing it's lustre fast. :)Crapadula... I deleted the original msg.. Uh.... I didn't do it....
